RPS sees a dip in COVID cases in recent data

(ABC 6 NEWS) – The Rochester Public School district saw a dip in COVID cases in recently released COVID-19 Dashboard data.

From October 11 to October 17, the district saw 56 new cases. That is compared to 87 from the week before.

There were 24 cases in PreK through 5th grade and 24 in grades 6th through 12th. There were 8 cases in staff.

205 people were asked to quarantine.

85.7% of the cases were among those who are not vaccinated.
