(ABC 6 News) – According to Rochester police, a 20-year-old woman in the parking lot of The Quarters was struck by a bullet that went through the windshield of a car Friday night.

Rochester police responded to reports of shots fired in a hallway outside a party at about 11:56 p.m. Oct. 27.

According to Captain Casey Moilanen, a party at a unit got out of hand and a shot was fired inside the building.

After more shots were fired in the parking lot, one struck the woman in a vehicle.

Moilanen said her injuries were not life-threatening.

Another bullet penetrated a bedroom in the 863 building, but did not hit anyone. A third bullet hit the 851 building, but did not go through, Moilanen said.

There have been no arrests, according to Rochester police.

(ABC 6 News) – Multiple shots were fired at a southeast Rochester apartment complex Friday night, leaving one person injured and no one in custody.

According to the Rochester Police Dept., it happened around 11:55 p.m. on the 800 block of 21st Ave. SE in Rochester at the Quarters apartment complex.

No arrests have been made at this point and there is no status report on the victim who was injured.

ABC 6 News has received reports that the victim is a 20-year-old female with a gunshot wound but that has not been confirmed by police.

Witnesses at the scene say the shooting happened at a Halloween party and that multiple people there got into a fight and pulled out guns. A witness also says that another person was hit in the chest with a bullet. That has also not been confirmed by police at this point.

RPD officials say that the shooting was between two groups that knew each other and that there is no immediate threat to the public.

More information is expected to be released on Monday.
