Rochester man injured in crash after striking a tree in Brownsdale

A man has been injured in a crash after striking a tree in Brownsdale on Sunday morning.

(ABC 6 News) – A man has been injured in a crash after striking a tree in Brownsdale on Sunday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 58-year-old Barrie Wutschke was driving North on Highway 56 when, at approximately 9:30 Sunday morning, he left the road and struck a tree near Brownsdale in Mower County, MN.

Wutschke was taken to Austin Hospital following the crash, where the state patrol log says he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The report also mentions that Wutschke was wearing his seatbelt, and that alcohol was not involved.

The Mower County Sheriff’s Office, Brownsdale Fire Dept., and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
