Broken records unlikely this week

Despite the above-average temperatures throughout this week, we are unlikely to break any record highs. Most of our record highs are up around 70°F, and we won’t be getting the warmest air that will allow for those temperatures to take place. Cities such as Omaha, NE and Des Moines, IA are more likely to see those upper-70s.
