Generally mild in the long run despite a push of cold air late this weekend

A cold front will push through the region Sunday afternoon to evening, bringing a more December-like feel to the start of this coming week. Although there will be a glimpse of winter, the overall pattern will maintain milder weather through Christmas Day. A storm system may affect us as we get closer to Christmas, but it’s looking to have more rain potential than snow.
