The first cold spell of the winter season is getting underway

Temperatures are going to be falling quickly tonight and will stay very cold through the weekend and beyond. Through Saturday, the temperature will be declining from the very start of the day to the end. Saturday night, we’re in for below zero temperatures and they’ll stay below zero through at least Tuesday morning. Tuesday’s high should creep just above zero in the afternoon if all goes to plan. Even with above zero temperatures later next week, it’s still going to be colder than “normal” for the middle of January, which is statistically the coldest week of the year.

Considering what’s coming our way, you might want to get out and take care of the snow in your driveway sooner than later!
