(ABC 6 News) – Pay-It-Forward is a nonprofit in Mower County with a mission to support families in need, helping countless people with home remodels and any improvements they need.

Pay-It-Forward HAS been at it for 11 years, and tonight the business is front and center on a popular national magazine.

Pay-It-Forward has its own spread in Woman’s World, a weekly magazine with a circulation of 1.6 million readers.

After hearing about the project the organization did with Wyatt Hamlin back in October, the magazine reached out to the nonprofit for a story.

“He said, ‘I don’t know how we never heard about you before but I really think that you would be a good fit in the magazine, we like to talk as well about people when they’re helping people and the things people are doing in their communities,'” Pay-It-Forward founder Gina Grundmeier said.

The magazine also spoke to some people who previously helped by Pay-It-Forward.

They shared how grateful they are for the plumbers, electricians and everyone that’s made this possible.

Nominations for Pay-It-Forward 2024 are open and there’s still time to submit a nomination for a bathroom that needs a makeover.
