Big swing back to warmer weather next week

Cold, arctic air will continue to affect the region through Saturday. There’s another push of colder air moving in behind Thursday’s clipper, keeping highs in the single digits above zero and lows in the single digits below zero. Winds will pick up Sunday, bringing highs back up to around 20°, and warmer air surges back into the upper Midwest early next week. Highs will be back above freezing through much of next week. With that warm-up, there is a chance of light rain and snow Tuesday through Thursday.
