Slick roads into Friday

Thanks to a strong wind and a coating of fresh snow, some roads, especially those less-traveled, will remain slick at times through Friday. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY remains in effect in north-central Iowa, along with much of the rest of Iowa, until 6am Friday morning. We keep the WIND CHILL ADVISORY until Noon Friday. Wind chills and temperatures will be well below zero again through Saturday morning.
