(ABC 6 News) – On Tuesday, the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce brought business leaders in the Med City together for an economic summit.

With Mayo Clinic’s Bold, Forward, Unbound Initiative, it plans to transform Rochester with a price tag of $5 billion.

With the future within reach, there’s room for improvement.

That can be found in the Business Outreach Survey, sent to area businesses to see where growth is needed.

Survey results highlighted recruitment and retention.

“Workforce continues to be a challenge for Rochester area businesses. That will continue on into the year ahead. There’s optimism to be had with that, capital expenditures will continue to increase,” Ryan Parsons, president of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce said.

Meaning there could be an increase in sales.

The full survey results will be made available in February.
