Rochester woman wakes up to find man in her home

(ABC 6 News) — Rochester Police said a woman woke up early Saturday morning to find a man wearing a ski mask in her home, and she said he made a comment to her about taking off her clothes.

The woman called police just before 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2. It happened at her apartment on 4th Ave SW. The woman said the man said something along the lines of "take it off". She said she screamed, and he took off from her apartment out the front door.

The woman said she may have forgotton to lock her door. Officers searched the area but couldn’t find the suspect.

She described him as a slender white man in his 40s wearing a black fleece ski mask with a hole for the eyes. He was wearing dark clothing, and it seemed as though he was trying to alter his voice.
