Gradual warming heading into February
Temperatures will largely remain above average heading into next week as the calendar page flips over to February.
High temperatures will be in the 30s with night lows in the 20s through Monday before the weather pattern undergoes some changes allowing more mild air to flow in.
The polar jet stream will amplify to the north allowing mild Pacific air to move into the central part of the country. As a result, temperatures will climb to around 20° above average with high temperatures warming into the low-to-mid 40s throughout the week with some upper 40s possible for some.
Record high’s likely won’t be broken, but record warm low’s certainly will be possible as low’s will be in 30s for most heading toward the second half of the week.
