(ABC 6 News) – A woman walking her dog on 7th Street in Byron was struck by a car while crossing the road around 5 p.m. Wednesday evening, Jan. 31, according to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office.

Capt. Tim Parkin said there were no visible injuries to the woman, but Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service arrived to check her over.

Parkin did not know if the woman had been transported to a hospital.

The dog received a cut to its leg, but was walking on the limb, Parkin added.

There were no citations or arrests.
