Stop-arm camera funding from Minnesota DPS

(ABC 6 News) – Grimm School Bus Company will get nearly $60,000 from the state of Minnesota to install stop-arm cameras on their busses.
The company currently serves the Stewartville School District.

Funding will come from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety and will allows 25 new cameras to be installed. The cameras would help law enforcement track down drivers who violate the stop-arm.

And those violations are a growing concern across the state. Between 2016 and 2022 the amount of violations has more than more than doubled.
