(ABC 6 News) – Governor Tim Walz joined other state leaders to encourage Minnesotans to get out and vote in this year’s election.
“Minnesota’s voter participation is legendary. When we slip to second, we’re upset,” said Walz. “And we should be. Voter participation is it and extends to other civic responsibilities.”
State leaders spent the morning talking to students at the University of St. Thomas as part of a voting rights symposium, reminding them of the privilege and responsibility we have to vote in our elections.
