(ABC 6 News) – A man from Mason City has been charged in the death of 20-year-old man from Waterloo, IA.

23-year-old Eric Hamilton II was charged with First Degree Murder and Felon in Control of a Firearm Thursday.

The victim, Keivon Anderson, died after being shot in November 2022.

According to court records, Hamilton made his initial appearance in court Friday. His bail was set at $1,000,000.

Waterloo Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
