Record highs likely Tuesday

The mild winter weather rolls on with record high temperatures likely to be broken on Tuesday across much of the ABC 6 Weather First area.

Mild Pacific air will continue to move into the area with highs climbing into the low-to-mid 50s which is more typical of early April than February.

Moisture and warm air will lead to clouds building in throughout the day with skies eventually becoming mostly cloudy.

A light southerly wind will also help to warm temperatures that will likely break records in Rochester, Austin, Albert Lea, Mason City and others.
