National Women and Girls in Sports Day Photo Submissions

February 7, 2024, marks the 38th National Girls & Women in Sports Day.

National Girls & Women in Sports Day is organized by the Women’s Sports Foundation.

The day honors women’s and girls accomplishments in sports and celebrate the power sports to brings to reveal a person’s “limitless potential.

The day aims to inspire women and young girls “to play and be active, to realize their full power.”

The Women’s Sports Foundation will celebrate their 50th anniversary this year.

To take part in this celebration, ABC 6 News asks you to submit photos of their favorite women and girls in sports, from the sports stars in our lives to those that inspire us everyday.
