Cooler days to come, but long range still above average

The “normal” high for late February is in the upper 20s to lower 30s, and even though we’re in for a stretch cooler than the last couple weeks, winter remains mild. Beyond the next week, temperatures look to remain at least a little bit above average. In regards to precipitation, it still looks like a quiet weather pattern for the next couple weeks. To get some drought relief this spring and summer, we’ll depend on what’s to come in those seasons as there aren’t any substantial storm systems headed our way yet.
