North Star Act could make Minnesota a “Sanctuary State”

(ABC 6 News) – DFL lawmakers introduced a plan last week to make Minnesota a sanctuary state.
The plan would bar local law enforcement from working with federal immigration authorities, with exceptions for public safety.
Republicans and DFLers are already at odds over the issue.
Currently, ten other states have similar laws in place. Nine states have bans on sanctuary laws.
