SEIU members meet with Mayo representatives for continued negotiations
(ABC 6 News) – Members of the Service Employees International Union met with representatives from Mayo Clinic in an effort to improve employee conditions.
Previously, Mayo Clinic workers held an informational picket calling for higher wages and a plan to fix staffing shortages.
On February 13, both sides came together to bargain towards an agreement.
We are at the table again today working to reach an agreement that honors the amazing work these 600 frontline healthcare workers do every day. We are withholding comment on today’s bargaining until after today’s session is over to focus on the work reaching a fair deal, but our members remain committed to winning what they deserve. We will share a formal update as soon as we can.
Hallie Wallace, the lead negotiator for Service Employees International Union Healthcare MN & IA
