Brief cold snap to end the week and start the weekend

The coldest air of this February so far will move in behind Wednesday night’s clipper and stick around through Saturday. While it’s going to be colder than what we’ve become accustomed to recently, temperatures will drop to near “normal” for just a few days. There will be a little recovery in temperatures Sunday, and a more substantial warm-up is ahead of us next week. Highs will once again be knocking on 50° by the middle of next week.
