Monday is the final day to request a presidential preference card from the Iowa Democratic Party
(ABC 6 News) – Despite the Iowa Caucus being a little over a month ago, Monday is the last day Iowans can request a presidential preference card from the Iowa Democratic Party.
In past years, a Democratic caucus brought people together in person to vote for their candidate. People then had to go to the opposite sides of a room to vote for their candidate and to make them viable. Now, Democrats will get a mail-in card to make their voice heard. That card needs to be requested by Monday, February 19.

People can either fill out an online form or download a printable form, fill it out, and email it or return it by mail.
Only registered Iowa Democrats eligible to vote in this year’s election can participate in the caucus. They must be registered as a Democrat by February 19. Iowa law bans participating in more than one political party’s caucuses.
