Quiet, mild Monday

The week will get off to a quiet and mild start as the brief return to winter late last week and over the weekend is gone.

After a chilly start to the day, high temperatures will climb into the 40s area wide which will be more than 10° to 15° above average for this time of year.

Passing clouds will make for a partly sunny sky at times and the wind will be fairly light out of the southeast.

Temperatures will continue to inch up a few degrees more on Tuesday and Wednesday when highs will be near or in the low 50s.
