Bright weekend with warming temperatures

High pressure building in late Friday will lead to a quiet start to the weekend as the area stays clear of any storms heading into next week.

Saturday will start cold with temperatures in the teens. An at times breezy southwest wind will help bring in some mild air and boost temperatures into the low 40s for highs with some passing mid-to-high- level clouds during the afternoon.

Sunday will be a tad warmer, but less breezy. Another some clouds here and there, it’ll be a pleasantly cool day with high temperatures pushing into the upper 40s with some 50s possible.
