Santa Claus stops in downtown Rochester

(ABC 6 News) – Santa was in downtown Rochester Friday evening.

He made a surprise visit to the med city ahead of Christmas this year. Fire crews were called to save Santa Claus who was stuck on top of city hall.

The crews were able to safely lift him down with their fire trucks. Once on the ground, Santa was greeted by a crowd of onlookers including Mayor Kim Norton.

Rochester Trolley and Tour Co. provided rides around downtown to get from one destination to another and to view a couple Hiawatha Homes Festival of Trees locations with illuminated and decorated trees.
