Late Tuesday & early Wednesday snow

Before the snow arrives, we have a smaller chance of having some rain take place locally. Although, snow is more likely to take place in southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa. The timing is still late Tuesday and early Wednesday, with most of the snowfall wrapping up by the time the Wednesday morning commute takes place.

Snowfall totals are most likely to fall short of 2″. Winds will be gusty enough to where any snow that accumulates will blow around. Although, snow will struggle to accumulate on the ground at first due to how warm we have been and how warm we will be on Monday (before any snow takes place). This will allow for accumulations to be higher on elevated surfaces.
