Rochester Parks and Rec seeks feedback on Rolling Green Park Playground

(ABC 6 News) – Rochester Parks and Recreation is seeking feedback from the community on planned renovations for the Rolling Green Park Playground.

Park staff have been working on replacement options that would include sidewalk access, new equipment and safety surfacing, but they want public input before making any final decisions.

An in-person open house is set for 12-1 p.m. Monday at Benedictine Living Community, with a virtual open house taking place from 6-7 p.m. A link to join the virtual meeting can be found here.

“We are excited to be able to use park referendum dollars to do some needed renovations at Rolling Green Park,” Park Planner Jeff Feece said in a press release. “The project will allow us to improve access to the playground and mitigate ongoing drainage issues.”

Playground equipment is set to be replaced this fall. Residents will not be able to use the playground for about four to five weeks while construction is ongoing.
