Stalling Front Brings A Weekend Soak

Hurricane Earl off the East Coast will set-up a blocking pattern across the country as we head into the weekend. That means the broad ridge of high pressure we have been enjoying will stall east of us, allowing the incoming system bringing the cold front to stall over our area over the weekend. This will keep the rain chance in place now for all of Saturday & most of Sunday. It’s too early to talk specific details, however we could see decent numbers in our rain gauges once it all wraps up by Sunday evening.
