Monday: Colder and some showers

It’s been an exceptionally dry start to 2024. On Monday, we are finally expecting some much needed rain. Midday and early afternoon are the most likely timing of these showers (think 9 AM to 4 PM) but a few stragglers could be around before and after that time window.

We will not get major drought relief from this. If showers mature fast enough, we could see some totals get close to 1/2″. However, I would not count on totals from these showers being much higher than 1/3″ for most. The highest totals of rainfall are most likely east of Highway 218.
