Above average week with late week storm potential
The first week of March will bring above average temperatures along with a storm system that will track close the region late in the week leading to the chance of precipitation.
High temperatures will moderate from the 40s on Monday and Tuesday into the 50s on Wednesday and Thursday before cooling back down into the 40s on Friday heading into the weekend.
A storm system will cross the region to the south of the area sometime late Thursday into Friday.
The storm will draw enough moisture north that some rain will be possible late Thursday afternoon or evening. As colder air wraps in behind the storm and with high pressure building in, there may be a mix or changeover to snow.
There are still several uncertainties on the exact track, timing and overall evolution of this storm. Expect further details to be ironed out as it gets closer.
