Mayo Clinic Health System transitioning services in Adams

(ABC 6 News) – Mayo Clinic’s Adams facility will close its doors soon, changing how some Minnesotans will receive their medical care.
Starting Friday, March 15, part-time nurses and laboratory services will transition to the Mayo facility in Austin.

Mayo officials say this change will help ensure better coordinated care as more patient already primary care from a different location.
The announcement comes just days after Mayo Health Systems announced the closure of the Janesville clinic, 18 miles from Mankato.
