(ABC 6 News) – Would you like to work in the great outdoors? Then the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources may be the perfect fit for you.
The DNR is currently recruiting candidates all month for its conservation officer prep program.
The first of two open-house style career fairs took place on Wednesday at the DNR headquarters in St. Paul, the next event will take place on Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Application are open all month.
“It does not matter what outdoor recreation means to you, as long as you have a passion in enforcing the laws around that. Those are the people that we’re looking for,” said Kylan Hill, a conservation officer with the DNR.
If the DNR offers you the job, training takes about a year to complete.
