Rain a miss for most of us Friday, cooler air through Saturday

A storm system approaching from the southwest will deliver rain to parts of Iowa and far southeast Minnesota Friday, with more appreciable amounts remaining well to our south. No matter where the rain ends up, temperatures will take a dip from Friday through Saturday before warming up late this weekend. Winds will be out of the north Friday, and will shift late this weekend delivering the milder air.
