Experience Rochester celebrates National Donut Day & Opening of Visitor Information Booth

(ABC 6 News) — Experience Rochester announced it will serve free donuts and coffee to mark the return of its outdoor visitor information booth at Peace Plaza, in downtown Rochester Friday.
The information booth is located on the west side of Peace Plaza at 1st Avenue SW between 2nd Street SW and W. Center St.
The free donuts and coffee will be distributed starting at 9:30 a.m., while supplies last, according to Experience Rochester.
The information booth provides information about transportation methods, hotels, upcoming events, restaurants, local businesses and more.
Experience Rochester staff are available to answer questions, give directions and provide suggestions on things to do in the city.
The new, free Rochester Visitors Guide is also available at the booth.
Experience Rochester’s information booth hours of operations are:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Thursdays, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
The hours are subject to change and may be adjusted, weather-permitting.
Experience Rochester will maintain these hours through September 2 (Labor Day).
