Storms passing through, capable of heavy rain
Showers and storms from this morning and early afternoon have limited our chances for strong to severe weather tonight. Although, they are not totally eliminated.
The primary threat from these storms is heavy rain and frequent lightning, but a few storms could still possess strong wind gusts and small hail. As for rainfall, parts of southern Minnesota and northern Iowa may see rainfall totals exceeding 2 inches by the time storms exit the area Sunday morning.
If there are any watches and warnings, they will be posted and updated here online and on ABC 6. Be sure to catch the latest on ABC 6 News tonight at 10 for more updates as the storms are taking place and for your Father’s Day forecast.
