OMC employees could face termination if they don’t get the COVID-19 vaccine

(ABC 6 News) – Tuesday night, dozens gathered in the dark and cold at Peace Plaza to pray for those directly impacted by vaccine mandates at work.

For employees at Mayo Clinic, religious exemptions were granted for those who went through the proper protocol. For Olmsted Medical Center employees, the mandate deadline has been extended but so far there are no religious exemptions being granted.

ABC 6 News anchor Betsy Singer spoke with employees of Olmsted Medical Center to hear how the mandate is impacting them and their jobs.
