State Patrol: 8-year-old killed in Brooklyn Center hit-and-run crash

(KSTP) – The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed an 8-year-old girl Thursday night in Brooklyn Center.
According to the State Patrol, an unconfirmed vehicle—possibly a 2017-2019 white Nissan Rogue—hit a pedestrian and then left the scene.
Authorities say the vehicle was headed south on Highway 252 at 66 Street just after 10:30 p.m.
No other details were immediately provided, however, the State Patrol says more information will be released Friday afternoon.
