(ABC 6 News) – There’s also something fun for the kids to do this New Year’s Eve in Rochester.
Spark Children’s Museum will be hosting its SPARKLE Noon Year’s Eve celebration Friday.
This will be the first time doing it at the new space in the Apache Mall because last year it was held virtually.
The ball will drop at noon and 3 p.m.
“A lot of those little ones can’t make it til midnight so that’s why we do noon. So, Noon Year’s Eve, they can come see the ball drop and participate with their families in a fun experience,” Julia Hurley, Marketing & Program Coordinator at Spark, said.
There will also be a snowmaker space in the weather lab where kids can come make their own snow and take it home. Kids can also decorate their own party hats, and there will be a DJ with a Zumba dance party.
Tickets for the morning session are sold out, but there are still tickets left for the afternoon session. Tickets must be pre-purchased.
