(ABC 6 News) – UPDATE: one person is hurt after a collision on Highway 14 in Byron that happened Tuesday morning.

According to Minnesota State Patrol (MSP), 40-year-old Igor Puia from Palatine, IL, was driving westbound in a Volvo Tractor on Highway 14 when the tractor collided with a car traveling southbound on 10th Avenue.

The person driving the car was identified as 37-year-old Jason Kruger from Byron, according to MSP. When the two vehicles crashed into each other in the intersection, the car Kruger was driving went into the median and rolled over.

Kruger was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. MSP says Puia was not hurt and there was no alcohol involved. Both drivers were also wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

Not much is known about the crash currently. Agencies responding around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Multiple agencies are responding including the Minnesota State Patrol and ambulance services.
