A persistent pattern means more summer warmth through next week

Aside from the potential of a few showers and thunderstorms late Friday into Saturday, there aren’t too many changes in front of us. Temperatures will remain above average through the rest of this week, the weekend, and through next week.

Crisp, cool fall weather is on hold for the time being, which at this point looks to be at least through the 3rd week of September.
