RFD responds to generator fire at Jefferson Elementary

(ABC 6 News) — On Wednesday, the Rochester Fire Department responded to a small generator fire at Jefferson Elementary School.

The school was evacuated as a precautionary measure and no injuries occurred. RFD put out the fire with an extinguisher and turned off power to the generator.

A fire investigator is still working to determine what caused the fire.
