Police standoff in Austin ended peacefully
(ABC 6 News) – Austin police responded to the 700 block of 9th Avenue SE for a mental health call involving a firearm.
According to chief David McKichan, a man fired one round from a 22-caliber rifle during the 2 1/2-hour negotiation.
