New ownership for Historic Hubbell House in 2022
(ABC 6 News) – The historic Hubbell House in Mantorville will soon have new ownership.
In a post on its Facebook page on Wednesday, it was announced that "on January 1, 2022, Powers Ventures would take ownership of the Hubbell House and would close for a few months for a kitchen renovation."
According to the post, “The front of the house will remain mostly as it is now, and the atmosphere and historic theme will remain the same for all to enjoy.”

In February 2020, the Pappas family announced that they were selling the historic Hubbell House in Mantorville to Rochester’s Powers family. Then the pandemic hit, putting the transition on hold.
The Pappas family ended the post thanking its patrons for 75 wonderful years.
“Throughout our history, we’ve always said we have the best customers and staff. The past 21 months have been challenging and unpredictable, yet our hearts are so full. The loyalty, support, flexibility, and patience of our customers and staff have been invaluable,” concluded the message.
The Hubbell House will re-open with a new kitchen in April of 2022.
