SPARK hosts 9th annual ‘Great Cardboard Sled Race’ Saturday

(ABC 6 News) – SPARK, Children’s Museum is hosting the 9th Annual ‘The Great Cardboard Sled Race’.
The event is this Saturday, January 29 from 9:30 am to 11:30 pm at Rochester Golf & Country Club.
Spectators will be able to watch all the creativity and engineering that a cardboard box can hold as racers zoom down the hill of the Rochester Golf & Country Club in their homemade sleds, made only from cardboard, tape, paint, and glue.
“The Great Cardboard Sled Race embodies the museum’s mission of providing intergenerational and engaging experiences for families in Southeastern Minnesota through the Power of Play.”
All proceeds from this event will stay right here in our region in support of SPARK.
