RCTC offering free dental and wellness services for Veterans

(ABC 6 News) – Rochester Community and Technical College’s Dental Hygiene program will be partnering with Winona State University’s Bridges Health to offer free health care services for vets. They will be working alongside the 3rd District of the American Legion Auxiliary.
The Winchester Wellness effort will pair students with heir faculty and licensed healthcare providers in nursing, public health, and social work. Services will be available on three Tuesdays beginning on February 18 and continuing through and March 4, 2025, at the RCTC Dental Hygiene Clinic at the Heintz Center. Appointments are available from 1:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
RCTC’s Dental Hygiene students will offer free dental cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, and exams. Graduate nursing and social work students from Bridges Health, PC will provide veterans with resources for housing, food, and preventative care. Additionally, free dental care kits will be provided by the 3rd District Auxiliary Juniors.
All active, reserve, and retired military personnel, as well as anyone who has served in the military, are invited to take advantage of these services as a thank you for service.
