Falling into the season it is
A potent cold front arriving on Thursday morning will help push the temperatures back down to cooler levels.
As a sharp north/northwest wind picks up through the day, the temperatures will run fairly stagnant in the middle/upper 50s across our area. Any temperature gains will be limited to about 3-4°. Wind gusts will reach around 25 mph with a select gust or two reaching 30 mph.
The slip continues Thursday night into Friday morning where potential is there to reach freezing. Friday night into Saturday morning is lining up for a decent freeze scenario, especially if clearer skies continue to hold as a light wind will be present.
