(ABC 6 News) – The Mason City school district has passed a new district-wide logo.
Last year, the board voted to end the use of the mohawk mascot and logo, and a committee of coaches, students, and community members have been working on a new one since then.
Monday, the superintendent of schools presented this new ‘M-C’ logo.
He underlined that this logo is intended to be a district-wide logo and is separate from the new mascot which is still undecided and that different logos could be developed stemming from a new mascot.
