Minnesota pheasant hunting season opens Saturday
(ABC 6 News) – The Minnesota pheasant hunting season will open at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (MnDNR) says hunters should check regulations before they head out into the field.
Pheasant hunters aged 16-64 must purchase a small game license and pheasant stamp before they can hunt.
Also, all pheasant hunters must wear at least one visible article of clothing above the waist that is a blaze orange or pink color. This could be a hat, jacket or hunting vest.
Pheasants harvested in the field and being transported must have one leg or a fully-feathered wing attached.
