(ABC 6 News) – Rochester Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire early Saturday morning at Oak Terrace Estates.
A 911 caller said the fire was shooting out of the front door of the mobile home at 1618 Marion Rd., #181.
When crews arrived just after 1:30 a.m., the front deck and exterior wall of the mobile home were fully engulfed in flames.
No injuries were reported, however, one dog died.
RFD said the cold temperatures were challenging for the firefighters, as freezing water from the hose lines made it difficult for footing and caused their gear and tools to freeze.
Crews were on scene for a little less than three hours before the Fire Marshal Division took over the scene for investigation.
